Dr. Sonya and Dr. Sinensky first met at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where they were both dental surgery students. The pair’s paths crossed once again when they began working together at a private dental practice in Manhattan, New York. It was there that Dr. Sonya and Dr. Sinensky realized they shared similar dental philosophies and a shared vision, favoring a focus on patient-centered, conservative treatment guided by continuing education. As their friendship grew, the pair decided to go on a mission: to change the way people experience the dentist.
Born in Ukraine but growing up in Brooklyn, Dr. Sonya Krasilnikov is a true New Yorker at heart. After graduating cum laude at Cornell University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Dr. Sonya earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
A stellar student, she later completed a post doctoral residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Sonya is a member of both the American Dental Association and Spear Education.
Opting for a conservative and preventive approach to dentistry, Dr. Sonya prides herself on educating and motivating her patients to stay on top of their oral hygiene. Among her patients, she is known for her very gentle touch. She is passionate about dentistry and makes sure to bring that enthusiasm to every appointment, whether it’s major dental surgery or a routine treatment.
When she is not educating and treating her patients, Dr. Sonya enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Alan, and her three children, Ava, Farrah and Kai. Together, the family loves traveling, exploring new places, and trying new cuisines.
Dr. Sinensky is a graduate of Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She also completed her general practice residency at the prestigious VA New York Healthcare System - Brooklyn Campus.
Always learning, Dr. Sinensky later completed an Implant Dentistry Residency at the NYU College of Dentistry. Today, she has memberships in the American Dental Association and the New York Dental Society.
Passionate about educating her patients and staying up-to-date on everything related to the world of dentistry, Dr. Sinensky is constantly learning and growing in her profession. She specializes in cosmetic dentistry, dedicated to providing patients with healthy, natural-looking smiles.
When she is not shaping the perfect smile for her patients, Dr. Sinensky lives in Chelsea and loves to spend time with her husband, Michael, and their three children, Arielle, Joseph, and Hannah. She’s a self-described urban Soccer mom, Peloton mom, and her kids are avid foodies. She takes the role of office DJ very seriously, and is a big fan of 90s hip hop.
Born and raised in NYC, Dr. Kerpel graduated from the endodontic program at New York University. Prior to that, she received her doctor of dental surgery degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2007. She also completed a 3-year residency program at New York Hospital Queens and has been practicing in the New York area for over 10 years. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
When not helping patients achieve ultimate oral health, Dr. Kerpel is very active in sports, and has a very competitive spirit. It’s been said she has a great swing on the golf course, too.
Ilana Grossman combines her background in both art and science in her approach to dentistry. She believes in a conservative approach that focuses on prevention and holistic health. She graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and did a general dentistry residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.
Originally from Plainview, Long Island, she now resides on the Upper East Side. She’s an avid snowboarder, cyclist, rock climber, and a 2x Ironman finisher.
Dr. D'Amato, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, made the move to New York City in 2019. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Ohio State University in 2017, and subsequently pursued a general practice residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 2018. A highly motivated learner and dedicated volunteer, she has a particular interest in surgery, cosmetic, and orthodontics within the field of dentistry. Outside of her professional pursuits, she and her husband are avid travelers, enjoy exploring the great outdoors, and finding the next perfect meal.
